Stories & STEM was able to bring a special reward to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in Dwight D. Eisenhower’s afterschool program courtesy of the Annette Urso Rickel Foundation!
Through this program students were able to take home their very own hand-held microscopes – just in time for summer exploring. The children practiced with the microscopes for several sessions while exploring fun books like “Squish: Super Amoeba” by Jennifer and Matthew Holm.
Stories & STEM is made possible with support from Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc., which receives significant funding from the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.
