The Annette Urso Rickel Foundation is supporting MarineLab’s mission to advance marine research and education in Key Largo, Florida.
Through funding from the Rickel Foundation, MarineLab is bringing students from Title 1 schools in Florida to go on STEM field trips.
MarineLab provides educational field trips in the Florida Keys. This includes single-day and multi-day school field trips, family trips, virtual field trips, as well well as teacher workshops for continuing education. Students get to snorkel, explore the coral reef, mangroves, and seagrass. The program’s self contained campus includes labs, dining hall, dorms and more for multi-day trips.
MarineLab is a place where teachers and students can learn about and experience first-hand the wonders of our marine world. MarineLab is a registered service mark of Marine Resources Development Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.
