The Annette Urso Rickel Foundation is proud to support the Olga Iglesias Project. Led by founder and executive director Anthony Cheney, the non-profit organization celebrates the musical legacy of his grandmother while supporting the emerging talent of Puerto Rico’s classical singers. It was inspiring hearing how his efforts to preserve his own personal and cultural history are helping the future of Puerto Rican classical music.
The Olga Iglesias Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural organization devoted to nurturing emerging Puerto Rican classical vocal artists during their development and expanding the public awareness of Puerto Rico’s contribution to the classical music world through the legacy, memoirs and recordings of its namesake, the accomplished Puerto Rican soprano, Olga Iglesias.
