The goal of these videos is to provide children and families with a fun tutorial on “how to” execute various STEAM activities, step by step. Topics will include astronomy, biology, arithmetic, engineering and other STEAM subjects. These videos will also be posted on the KidVision YouTube channel and social media pages.

Our leadership team could not be more grateful for the Rickel Foundation and its trustees for their STEAM gift. Nothing is more important to us than preparing children in learning success. Together, we will change lives and ensure that young students are provided the tools they need!

Each video will premiere online as part of a weekly “KidVision: Full STEAM Ahead” series of virtual events with Miss Penny. During each event, Miss Penny will show the one-minute step- by-step STEAM video followed by a short lesson, and then invite preschool children to do the featured activity along with her at home.

These events will be produced in a similar fashion to Miss Penny’s previous Story Time and Fun Field Trip Friday events, which garnered high interest and praise from families. For the KidVision: Full STEAM Ahead series, the virtual activities will focus on STEAM lessons and activities kids and parents can do at home during their Summer break.
